Four dye-based inks—one each of black, cyan, magenta, and yellow—and one pigment-based black ink make up the MX860's five-color ink system. This enables the use of pigment-based inks for laser-quality text and dye-based inks for gorgeous photo prints. For use at home or in the office, this 5-ink system creates realistic images with a broad color palette and clear, sharp writing.
