The Canon Pixma MG6220 printer is compatible with the Canon cartridges that we carry. Reset chips in our compatible ink cartridges indicate the proper ink levels in your Canon printer. Five dye-based inks—one each of black, cyan, magenta, yellow, and gray—and one pigment-based black ink are housed in the six ink tank slots of the Canon MG6220. This enables the use of pigment-based inks for laser-quality text and dye-based inks for gorgeous photo prints.
