It does not void the printer warranty when you use compatible replacement laser toner cartridges and supplies with your Brother HL-2040. The Brother OEM DR350 laser drum is replaced with our remanufactured Brother DR350 laser drum for your Brother HL-2040. A replacement laser toner cartridge that fits into the DR350 drum housing is the TN350. Brother TN350 replacements don't require changing the DR350 drum housing in its entirety. There will be times when you need to change the drum.
